Training for Central

Our team today visited Tuckers Beach for a training run, this is where the race will be held on Wednesday. We have also run around Lake Hayes, Sawpit Gully and the loop track in Arrowtown.

Central Otago Cross Country

The cross-country champs are on this week. As defending champs we've been training hard to go for gold again. This year the champs will be at Tuckers Beach due to 12 Mile getting a do up. Telemark skiing has made its debut with the school programme. We hope this grows as it is an exciting extension to traditional skiing.

School Skiing

We have just had our 3rd day of skiing and everyone knows how it all works. The complete beginners are now beginning to venture up lifts! Many children are learning new runs and developing their ski technique. All children are having a 1hr lesson each day and it is great to watch the progress that many kids make!
